What I’m Re-wearing This Winter

I’ve unofficially declared 2026 the year of quality. Quality time, quality people, quality investments. That includes quality clothes – and honestly I’m very happy with the overall quality of my wardrobe. It’s why I’m sharing some well-worn winter outfits today. Let me de-influence you from buying new, and instead give you a few ideas on how to restyle your wardrobe this winter!

I’ve spent the past few years curating my sense of style in a way that’s cohesive and (hopefully) timeless. If you’d like to do the same, don’t simply copy the outfits shown here – start by reading my guide to sussing out your own style. We’re all different, so our personal styles should be unique too! If you want more, jump into The Curated Closet, the book that inspired my own style journey. However, I do still love to post new fashion posts, so in this one you’ll find previously worn clothes styled in a new way for 2026.

Wool Jumper & Silk Skirt

One of my favourite ways to create new winter outfits is to pair different textures together. I’m a fan of natural fibres and mono-materials; this outfit features both. Natural fibres tend to make for more sustainable fabrics in the long run, and I find they feel better and last longer too.

Here, I’ve paid my well-worn Naadam Cashmere Jumper with my second-hand Arket Silk Dress, for a flowy yet winter-appropriate outfit. I’ve then toughened it up for the cold weather with leather accessories: my second-hand Wandler Boots and RSVP Paris Batman handbag, which has quickly become my favourite daytime bag. Sheer Blouse & Black Trousers

Another all-black outfit, surprise surprise. This one features interesting textures and shapes to compensate for the lack of colour. I really enjoy wearing black – mainly for ease, but also for a little edge – so I try to add interest with texture and accessories.

On top, I’m wearing my Bec + Bridge pure silk blouse. This is actually worn backwards, as the front features a v-neck. I cut the label out so I can wear it either way. Then my favourite black trousers from Wolf & Badger, tailored for my little legs. The belt is from Loewe – a gift for my 30th birthday – and my bag is from RSVP Paris. Scroll on for a full review.

Of all my winter outfits, this is the one I’ve worn the most. I like to pair it with my pure wool shawl, which I scored for just £2!

Faux Fur Coat & Mini Dress

The second-most worn winter outfit is this faux fur coat and mini dress combination. I worked with Very to style this in December, and have loved wearing it ever since. I have to admit, the jacket is from Monsoon – who I had previously said weren’t doing enough when it comes to sustainability – but I have found they’re slowly improving. And, to be honest, my view on investing in my wardrobe has changed too. I’m buying so much less these days – first-hand especially – so adding this one jacket in feels ok. And it’s a really high quality faux fur jacket at that, with full lining, hooks, and little bow closure. I’ve paired this with my favourite polka-dot tights from Swedish Stockings, Jonak heels, and my Simone Rocha-inspired DIY earrings.

Vintage Velvet Jacket & Grey Trousers

If you’re not into faux-fur, let me put you onto a vintage alternative. This black velvet jacket was just £20 in my local Oxfam, and it has seen some very nice nights out (including a trip to the Royal Opera House!)

The shape is a little dated, but I like to wear it open with a pair of trousers and a little skin showing, or over my corset co-ord, for a contemporary update.

These trousers are showstoppers in themselves, a heavy boucle fabric threaded with silver glimmers running through them. And to finish off, I’m wearing my Monarc Jewellery Freddie Ball Hoops, and a second-hand belt that adds a further glimpse of gold.

RSVP Paris Batman Bag

Finally, a note on the bag! RSVP Paris kindly sent me the Batman to review late last year. I was super excited when it arrived – it has such a great shape, size, and look. The leather is soft but not too supple, giving the bag structure and fluidity. It has a long strap that can be adjusted to be a crossbody, but I prefer it as a shoulder bag with a whip-like handle. The bag fits all my essentials, plus sunglasses and/or umbrella and/or gloves, depending on the weather.

Overall, my Batman bag feels contemporary without a timestamp (unlike certain Polène bags, among others) and after a few months of wear, I can say that it has officially become my everyday bag.
