It’s Slow Fashion Week!

The Brighton Fashion Collective team hosting Slow Fashion Week

Slow Fashion Week is here! As one of the Co-Organisers of Brighton Fashion Collective, I’m delighted to be hosting our week-long programme celebrating sustainable, ethical, and local fashion in Brighton once more! While we’re half-way through the week, we’ve lots on and our flagship event at Brighton Dome to come! Read on to find out more about the week, and how you can get involved…

When Is Slow Fashion Week?

Slow Fashion Week takes place across the final week in September. This year, it falls between 22nd – 27th September. Following the huge success of our previous years’ events, this year promises to be more inspiring than ever, with a renewed focus on alternatives to fast fashion. By hosting the week, we are inviting everyone in Brighton and Hove, and further afield in East Sussex, to try more mindful ways to enjoy fashion and call for a fairer fashion system.

What’s On During Slow Fashion Week 2025?

This year’s programme showcases local designers and makers, and delves into themes of repair, self-expression, and conscious consumption. The Brighton programme starts on Monday 22nd September with a launch party at Helm Gallery, and runs until our flagship event on Saturday 27th September at Brighton Dome.
