If you’re looking for a good pair of jeans, let me introduce you to Bell St Jeans. This London-based denim brand popped up on my radar earlier this year, and I quickly fell in love. Their jeans are designed to complement the female form, and I was surprised at just how well they fit me. I usually struggle to find jeans that fit – even my most worn pairs are a little too big or too tight in places – while I snuggly fit into not one, but two of their four styles.
Read on to discover more about the brand, their sustainable credentials, and how I’m styling my new pieces from Bell St Jeans…
Who Is Bell St Jeans?

Bell St is a sustainable jeans brand for women, founded by Charl Mason. The brand launched in Spring 2025, with four cuts – Karina, Seberg, Lafont, and Audran – all named after French actresses. With such a large focus on creating timeless styles, and I think the naming convention is spot on – they really do represent timeless elegance!
As a brand, they are committed to:
- Quality: Quality is built into every aspect of design, material selection and construction, to make better jeans that last longer.
- Sustainability: All jeans are made with 100% organic cotton – no elastane, no synthetics – and use an ecological wash process with significantly reduced water consumption and chemicals.
- Timelessness: Classic cuts with an elegant silhouette – designed to be worn for years to come.
- Style and comfort: Bell St aims to create your next favourite pair of jeans, for style and comfort.
What Makes Bell St Jeans Sustainable?
As a sustainable denim brand, Bell St Jeans is transparent about the creation of their jeans, with every pair being made in Charl’s hometown of Izmir, Turkey. She works exclusively with a small, specialist jeans manufacturer, and has ensured that every part of their production process is based in Turkey too:
“Our entire production process is based in Türkiye, which removes the need for transportation of components between countries. This includes the growing and spinning of cotton, weaving of the denim fabric, sourcing of buttons and threads, and manufacturing of the jean itself.”
Their factory supplier uses some of the latest eco-friendly methods to make their jeans. If you’ve seen Riverblue, you’ll know how important it is to buy jeans that aren’t made using heavy metals, formaldehyde, or permanganate. Bell St goes one step further, committing to never distressing their jeans, and they use less energy, water, and CO2 than traditional manufacturers too.
Alongside supply chain transparency, Bell St Jeans makes all of their jeans with 100% organic cotton. This means no elastane, no polymers, and no synthetics of any kind. It also makes for a higher quality pair of jeans, and you can tell this as soon as you touch them. The denim is soft and hardy. It also means that the design has to be spot on, as there is less give in the fabric. Thankfully, I can attest to this being the case!
How Well Do Bell St Jeans Fit?

Bell St designs jeans in classic cuts and washes, designed to be worn for decades to come. They have four core styles, all made from 100% organic cotton. For this reason, I think it’s important to identify which style or styles best suit your body and style, ahead of purchasing. (In fact, sussing out your style can help you to approach fashion more sustainably too.)
Personally, I know that I like to wear high-waisted trousers, and that I have a slightly shorter leg on average. I also like jeans to hug my hips, bum, and thighs, while carrying on over my legs without being too tight or restrictive. For this reason, the Lafont and Audran styles appealed to me the most.
On arrival, I was pleased to find that both pairs fit my frame perfectly. Definitely go for your usual size, or be sure to measure up against your current pair of jeans and order the closest match!
My Favourite Denim Styles at Bell St Jeans
Lafont in No 2 Blue

I love a good pair of jeans. Jeans are one of the best investment pieces in my wardrobe, due to their comfort and hardiness. However, getting the fit, length, and colour right is key to unlocking an investment piece that you’ll wear forever.
This pair – the Bell St Lafont in No 2 Blue – has quickly become my new favourite. They fit my body incredibly well, hugging my legs and hips while still giving me room to move. I knew I wanted a pair of high waisted jeans – I much prefer wearing high waisted trousers generally, and feeling cinched in at the waist – but this pair in particular makes me feel incredibly chic!
Bell St’s jeans also come in a large range of waist and leg lengths, making me feel included when I often have to go for petite styles (here I’m wearing W 28″ L 26″. For reference, I’m 5′ 5″, and I usually wear a UK Size 10 trouser, or W 28″ L 28″). I like that these are still designed to fit like ankle grazers, despite my already short legs!
Audran in No 3 Blue

My next favourite pair of jeans are the Audran in No 3 Blue. These are a bit more contemporary, with a wider, straight leg, and are designed to cut off just below the ankle. These fit me exactly as described, and they definitely do make my legs look longer too (!)
I went for a darker wash on this pair, and I really do like this deep blue, as it looks clean and contrasts nicely with the rest of my wardrobe. I also like that they haven’t been distressed – not only does this look nicer, it also helps them to stay looking ‘new’ for longer.
