Over the course of our stay in Buenos Aires, we resided at Fierro Hotel, a compact yet carefully curated hotel that was a welcome respite between our days out in the city. What isn’t pictured here is how brilliant the staff are: welcoming, conversational, and very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. Under their guidance we were able to exchange money, book in for a tango show, and travel safely around the city while still sticking to a budget.
5-Star Service At Fierro Hotel
Unlike the two other hotels we stayed at during our travels around Argentina, Fierro Hotel had absolutely everything we could ask for. Complementary bottled water, fresh beds and sheets, quiet corridors, 24/7 concierge… It was wonderful.
One of the biggest draws to the hotel is its rooftop pool and sauna, and we enjoyed dipping our feet in to cool off between day-tripping around the city and heading out in the evening, but Buenos Aires has so much to do that it didn’t feature much in our itinerary. What did was breakfast: with jars of yoghurt and compote, fresh juice, and freshly made plates such as fried vegetables, scrambled egg, and pastries, we found ourselves excited to head down to the ground-floor restaurant every morning.
On the sustainability-front, Fierro Hotel provides reusable and refillable bathroom amenities, as well as reusable jars and bottles in its restaurant. They encourage guests not to request fresh towels daily, but in an inconspicuous way that makes you feel comfortable while being able to choose what’s right for you.
Fierro Hotel provides five-star service, and is a clean, quiet, welcome retreat away from the bustling Buenos Aires streets. It’s an easy recommendation for anyone visiting the city – please, stay here!
