As you’ve probably heard (I haven’t stopped blabbing on about it), this week I spent a couple of days with some old friends in Paris – and it was wonderful. In the beginnings of Curiously Conscious, it was the food culture there that had really inspired me – and I feel like I’ve received a fresh dose of inspiration on my little trip there this month.
Over the course of the next week I’ve got eight or nine blogs lined up all about the “greener” hangouts in Paris and both vegetarian and vegan places to eat. Holiday trips like this always remind me how rich each country’s culture is, in food as well as art, entertainment and wellbeing. As Paris is the fantastic culinary centre of Europe, I was a right tourist and snapped a lot of photos for the upcoming blogs and places you may want to visit if you’re ever headed there (or are lucky enough to live there).
One thing I’d like to add to this short introduction of the Green Paris series is that no matter where you go, it’s the people around you that really make a trip memorable, so I’d like to especially thank my friends Niamh and Campbell for their hospitality (as well as the wonderful yet absent Hannah) and for showing me a few places I was yet to discover for myself. Cooking for you guys was the least I could do! I hope you enjoyed my visit as much as I did.
